Amethyst Sixth Form
Repositioning the Wolverhampton based Sixth Form brand to attract more applications and better highlight their football academy offering.

The Challenge
Amethyst Sixth Form wanted to improve their brand position within the region and attract more prospective student applications to their Sixth Form courses. The existing brand was muddled, uninspiring and lacked consistency throughout all the brand touch points.
The team at Amethyst Sixth asked us to look at the brand identity, the marketing assets such as course information documents and a redesign of their website – www.amethystsixth.aatrust.co.uk









The Result
Having already worked with Amethyst Sixth Forms feeder school, Aldersley High, we created a link between the two identities, using the dove from the Aldersley High identity. We did this to convey the ongoing partnership between the two establishments, yet chose a different colour palette to establish a new feel in a more grown up environment.
We worked with the students to take a refreshed library of photography. In the process of this we had the opportunity to create a collection of supporting brand devices – I AM – which symbolises the students are ready and willing to go on and achieve their goals and education dreams.
Alongside the Sixth Form staff, we restructured a tired website and brought the new brand image into a user freindly design, crafted to inspire prospective students and encourage them to apply for their next step on the educational journey.
We developed a suite of course handouts and other marketing material such as pull up banners, window graphics and signage to welcome the students into their study area.
