Embarking on an adventure of ‘Learning Through Play. Educational products for parents and carers with busy lives.

The Challenge

 

Ruth Lue-Quee came to us during lockdown with an idea. To sell unique products for busy parents and professionals, who want to help their children learn key skills through play. Designed to support core development and adapted for a wide range of abilities. She had already been busy on social media – amassing a following of 5,000 on Instagram alone. What she didn’t have was a brand to help tell her story. She also had no idea how to go about creating products that would look great and ultimately sell!

The Result

 

In crafting the brand for My Mummy Teacher, we embarked on a journey to encapsulate the essence of education and fun. Understanding that the business was born from ‘mumpreneur’ Ruth Lue Quee, we used her passion as a former deputy headteacher and educational expert into every aspect of the brand.

The brand features a playful font with a vibrant color palette, powered by a set of brand characters that are used throughout, designed to appeal to both children and parents as they embark on an adventure of ‘Learning Through Play’.

Not only did we create the brand identity for Ruth but we also worked with her to develop the products and packaging, which she intended to sell on her website and via social media. Of course she asked us to help her build her website! We designed an ecommerce store on Shopify that was just as playful and fun as her products. Most importantly it was easy to use and buy from, perfect for those busy parents who have little time and need to purchase on a mobile device while looking after young children.

It was a project that utilised a diverse mix of our expertise, from the brand identity design to website and packaging, right through to social media content, stop motion video and exhibition material.
