We Won! Wild in Wolves Takes Home Best Marketing Campaign of the Year

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Depict Creative won Best Marketing Campaign of the Year at the Express & Star Business Awards 2023 for our work on Wild in Wolves—a summer holiday trail that transformed Wolverhampton City Centre into a vibrant, interactive experience for families.

This award means a lot. Not just because of the recognition, but because of what Wild in Wolves represents: creativity, community, and collaboration at its best.

Working with Wolverhampton BID, we created a city-wide trail that featured life-like animal sculptures, each designed by local artists and positioned across key locations throughout the city. The goal? To encourage footfall, support local businesses, and give families a reason to explore and engage with the city during the summer holidays.

We handled everything from the branding, campaign creative, trail management, website build, and signage, to digital promotion and social content. The result was a campaign that was fun, eye-catching, and full of heart—bringing people into Wolverhampton and giving them something to smile about.

The trail saw thousands of families take part, created a huge buzz on social media, and helped drive real engagement across the city—supporting local shops, cafés, and cultural venues along the way.
